Anyone who has ever had a proper conversation with me, knows I love reading books; Fantasy, Dystopian, Contemporary, Historical Fiction, Romance, YA, Teen and a bit of Non-Fiction too. My shelves are full of them, I need reading glasses because of them, and Simply Made came into existence thanks to them.

Hey! I’m Sarah. I live in Melbourne and I’m the creator of this website and the business Simply Made.

I am well known to have a novel in my schoolbag or under my arm most days of the week and so bent pages and creased covers are a problem all too familiar to me (unfortunately).

Over the years however, I have come to realise that books do not have to be worn and marked to be loved. In fact it’s kind of the complete and entire opposite. For me, a well loved book is a well kept book. If you’ve gotten this far into the website, you probably agree. (Although not everyone does -ugh!)

A well kept book is practically impossible if you have a full bag and it’s getting jumbled around all day or it falls off the table with a stack of other things. Right?

Wrong! Drum roll please…
